Continue through to the lounge area furnished with comfortable sofas and offers air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a TV/DVD and a heater. The stairs lead up to the first floor and the dining area/den fitted with a large dining table, seating area to view the TV which has some channels. Continue up another flight of stairs to the second floor. On this level are the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a large king size bed, an A/C unit and some spectacular views down the valley. Keeping in style with the original design of the village townhouse, the bedrooms do not feature much storage space and have curtains instead of doors, therefore this floor features a separate dressing room that can double as an office as it offers full WiFi, a desk and shelving. Up one more flight of stairs to the top of the house and the utility area fitted with the washing machine and tumble dryer as well as a freezer. Go out through the door onto the wonderful terrace. This hidden treasure is partly covered and has a inviting seating area to relax on as well as an open area with table and chairs to enjoy a BBQ supper or a glass of wine whilst unwinding with the views down the valley in one direction and the small village square in the other. The breath-taking, unspoilt beauty of this municipality stretches inland to incorporate the Serriano de Ronda and the Campo of Gibraltar. The village of Casares is only a few kilometres inland from the coast and maintains the charm of winding, narrow streets leading to the central square filled with small bars and restaurants. A visit to the old fortress is not to be missed, where you can gaze down to the stunning views of the coast and across to Africa and Gibraltar.
Coastal Casares is only a few minute's drive from Puerto de la Duquesa to the east, and Sotogrande to the west. Along this 2km stretch of un-crowded beaches and promenades, you can visit the Duquesa marina with it’s bars, restaurants and cafes. The beaches at Casares are of a very high standard, kept clean and with all necessary facilities. Some have been awarded blue-flag status for excellence.
Quality golfing is in abundance including the famous Sotogrande, San Roque and Valderrama (home to the 1997 Ryder Cup) courses. This unspoilt area of the Costa del Sol is just waiting to be discovered.
