From Costa Galera, it is a short stroll to the lovely Bermuda Beach, where a walking track takes you all the way to Sabinillas. The superb Albayt Country Club is just a 2 minute walk away offer many facilities including a fitness centre and spa, practice golf course and driving range and a restaurant and bar. They also offer golf lessons and a pro shop.

The town of Sabanillas is more like a village, with a lovely leisurely atmosphere and a town plaza where all life seems to centre around. Originally, the town was split by the main road running through it, but now it has an underpass which diverts the traffic away from the town streets. Although it still has a more rural appearance, it has ample shops and services including banks, pharmacies and restaurants and large supermarkets. It also houses a weekly street market to stroll through and enjoy the vast array of offerings.


Estepona, the Coast’s most Westerly resort, is a sizeable yet charming town. West of Marbella, Estepona has largely avoided overbuilding and has lovely rural and unspoilt stretches of beach, with two being awarded the EC Blue Flags. The lovely port of Puerto Banus is just a 15 minute drive away and Marbella a further 5 mins.

Estepona is in a fertile valley crossed by small streams and a mountainous area dominated by the Sierra Bermeja, which reaches an elevation of 1,449 metres at the peak of Los Reales. Here you will find a wide selection of good quality self catering holiday rental accommodation, traditional bars, restaurants and shops lining the town’s quaint cobbled streets and picturesque squares, as well as the smart seafront promenade featuring a children’s play area. There is also a bustling sports marina with bars, cafés and restaurants, and a regular street market.
