Málaga airport is 25 minutes by car, or a train ride from Fuengirola.
The train also continues to Malaga city.
In the opposite direction, around 15 minutes drive away, are the must visit towns of Marbella and Puerto Banus, with their exclusive restaurants, and designer shops.
