Centre Loire

Known as ‘Centre’ because of its location in the heart of France, this region is dominated by the legendary Loire Valley, best known for its many fine wines and cheeses. The beautiful architecture and gardens of its thousand chateaus have inspired romantic writers and poets for centuries, and two of the world’s greatest cathedrals, at Bourges and Chartres, house some of the best examples of stained glass in France. Paris is also easily accessible for day trips, thanks to the high speed road and train connections.
